Service Payment Policy:
All monthly services are to be paid in advance. Examples of such are: Monthly Dialup Accounts, Monthly Hosting and/or Maintenance Accounts, Annual Domain Renewals, etc.
Any payment not received by the 15th day after being due will be assessed a late fee of $1.00 per day retroactively to the due date. Any account running over 30 days past due will be placed on inactive status until the account is paid in full. In addition a $25.00 reactivation fee will be accessed.
Please contact us should you want to pay for monthly services annually. We offer discounts of 5% and 10% for 6 and 12 month advance payments respectively. Other discounts may be available.
Any charges for additional services, such as tech work, website design, etc are due at the time of completion of the project.
We accept payment by cash, check, money order, cashier check, and by Paypal. All Payments are posted as of the date received. Please allow sufficient time when mailing your check to have it arrive by your due date.
Returned Check Policy:
Should your check be returned by your bank a returned check charge $45.00 or 10% of the face value, whichever is greater, will be assessed to your account. In addition any additional charges that are incurred by CGIBS due to the return of your check will also be added to your account. Any returned check must be paid for within 5 business days of notice. We do not redeposit checks. Additional stipulations, such as requiring, electronic payment, or certified funds could also be requested.
Website Policy:
Any websites hosted by CGIBS.com are expected to abide by internet decency guidelines. Should your site be deemed to be inappropriate it will be removed immediately. No refunds will be issued due to the violation of this policy. Additionally, your site should not be linked to such sites. It is our belief that the internet should be a safe place for adults and children. If you find that someone has linked information to your site that you feel is not appropriate let us know.
Recommendations:
The following recommendations are for your computer and internet security.
Be sure you have a Anti-Virus software running at all times. There are several good programs available.
Be sure you are running a Fire Wall, especially if not using Windows Fire wall.
Additionally you should run a Spam program with your email to help control unwanted emails and potential virus/trojons/pfishers/bots/etc.
We also recommend that you periodically run some basic maintenance programs to keep your system running smoothly.
Run a backup of your computer depending on how you use your computer.
Be sure to backup any data that you cannot replace if you have a problem.
